Wall of Honor

Visitors to our global headquarters in New York enter the newsroom by passing the Wall of Honor — a memorial to the 35 AP journalists who have died on assignment since we were founded in 1846.

Our journalists routinely cover perilous situations, from the war in Afghanistan to the front lines of the Ebola outbreak, putting themselves in danger on a daily basis to tell the world's stories. Here we remember those who lost their lives while reporting the news.
